Apprenticeship Training

Experience in the workplace is a key part of all apprenticeships, and all of our apprentices gain this in employment either by Pearson in Practice ATA or an IT industry employer. All our programmes also include off-the-job training at one of our centres. Our apprentices gain internationally recognised qualifications that include:

  • Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS)
  • Microsoft Technology Associate ('Networking Fundamentals' and 'Windows 7')
  • CompTIA A+
  • Level 3 IT Advanced Apprenticeship

For a full list of Apprentice qualifications, please click here.

Aged 16 – 18?

  • Off-the-job training will typically be for a period of 17 weeks at one of our training centres and you will gain a number of qualifications
  • On-the-job training will be for a period of up to 21 weeks in the workplace

Aged 19 – 24?

  • Off-the-job training will typically be for a period of 15 weeks at one of our training centres and you will gain a number of qualifications
  • On-the-job training will be for a period of up to 24 weeks in the workplace

During both programmes, you'll be visited by Zenos facilitators who will assess your competency and by Pearson in Practice ATA employment specialists who will help you secure that important first permanent IT role at the end of the apprenticeship contract.

You will receive the Apprenticeship wage and unlike going to University, you will complete this programme with NO tuition fee debt!
