The Programme
The Zenos Apprenticeship Programme lasts for 39 weeks and includes over 20 weeks in the workplace. The off-the-job training takes place in a Zenos training centre and includes:
- Key Skills Assessment & Certification
- Technical Training & Certification
- Internationally recognized Vendor Certification, eg Microsoft or CompTIA
- Business Skills
Employment
While obtaining these valuable IT qualifications, Zenos apprentices also receive a more rounded programme that encompasses business acumen and key skills, such as problem-solving and communication, in order to gain permanent employment and succeed in the IT industry at the end of the apprenticeship programme. All Zenos apprentices are employed by either Pearson in Practice ATA or an external employer during the programme.
At the end of the 39 week programme our apprentices will either move into a permanent role with the organisation where they have had their workplace experience or our ATA team will help them find their first permanent IT role.
We have close relationships with a range of blue-chip IT clients including Fujitsu, Capgemini, EDS, Computacenter and Xerox as well as selected employment agencies.
