FAQs

1. What qualifications do I need to get into on the Zenos programme?

   Minimum 4 GCSE grades A-C but in exceptional cases you can get on to the programme without any qualifications, by being highly motivated and having the right attitude.

2. What can I do if there isn't a Zenos centre close enough to where I live?

   There are more than 30 training centres around the country, so it is likely you will be no more than 45 minutes away from one of them.

3. What do I wear to attend the centre – is it really smart?

   Students are expected to wear smart office attire whilst in the training centre. In the workplace appropriate dress will be agreed with the host organisation.

4. What are the centre hours?

   Zenos courses require students to be present during normal working hours 9am-5pm.

5. What sort of jobs am I likely to get?

   There are many careers available within the IT sector and there are a large number of great vacancies for young people with the right qualifications and experience. You will gain both of these from a Zenos IT Apprenticeship.

6. I want to go and see the centre for myself. Is that possible?

   Zenos hold open events for prospective students. This is a great way to come and see what Zenos has to offer and to meet some of the staff and students. See our facebook page for more details.

7. Do I need to have a computer of my own?

   Each learner has their own computer throughout the course, with the latest software.

8. When in the year do the Zenos programmes start?

   For learners aged 16-18 there are two intakes, one in September and the other in February. Learners aged 19-24 can start in September, January or April.
